The club recently hosted an exclusive event at The Valley, giving members of its supporters’ groups the opportunity to watch the men's first-team train, enjoy lunch with the players and go behind the scenes for the 2026/27 team photo.
The event formed a part of the new Supporter Group programme.
Joe Doran, Chair of the Valiants Young Supporters Group, expressed just how much the group enjoyed the event.
"I run the Valiants Young Supporters Group and we have come down here to see an exclusive training session to have lunch and meet all the players. It has been amazing, we a lot of our young supporters have seen the players warm up and see what the professional players do and it has really educated them," he said.
"We are focused as a community, as supporters we want to build that bridge and as Nathan [Jones] says we are all in it together."
Addicks midfielder Conor Coventry explained how he felt the club goes above and beyond to engage with its' supporters.
"The fans are what make the club really, it is a special fan base we have so it is nice to hear what they have got to say and get to know them on another level" Coventry said.
"There aren’t many clubs where things like this happen and I think we have a great group of boys that are all on board with it and we enjoy it. You see the young supporters, and we were all one of them once, supporting a team and going to games, so it is always lovely to see that as well."
The newly formed Italian Addicks supporters group, headed up by Lorenzo and Marco Tenani, travelled across to SE7 especially for the occasion.
"When we first came to Charlton we fell in love with it. We loved the environment, we loved everything," Lorenzo said.
"It was amazing for us to be here today and we thank them [the club] for it."
