Fan engagement improvements ahead of 2026/27 season

-

The club have introduced a number of changes to enhance fan engagement ahead of the 2026/27 season.

As part of these updates, supporters will benefit from a new matchday drop‑in opportunity, a dedicated social media account focused on operational and informational updates, and a new Fans section on the club website designed to make key information easier to find.

These improvements are being delivered by the club’s fan engagement team, comprising James Bell, Katie Cowling, Ellis Hendry and Supporter Liaison Officer Hannah Jacobs, in line with the club's 2026/27 Fan Engagement Plan, which will be available following its publication at the end of this week. The 2025/26 version can be found here.

In addition, ahead of the new season, the club has updated its contact list to ensure supporters can easily reach the correct department. Full details can be found below or by clicking here.

Supporter drop‑ins

  • A member of the fan engagement team will be available for supporters to speak with between 12pm and 12.30pm in the Family Activity Zone in Valley Central on men's first team matchdays for 3pm Saturday kick‑offs.
  • For 12.30pm kick‑offs, the drop‑in will take place between 9.30am and 10am.
  • These sessions are focused on supporter experience and fan engagement, giving fans the opportunity to provide feedback and share ideas directly with the club.

New social media account

  • @CAFCFanUpdates has been launched on X to provide supporters with key matchday information, including travel updates, activation details and operational notices.

New fans section on the club website

  • Following an audit of the club website, including feedback from the Charlton Athletic Stakeholder Advisory Board, a new Fans section is being added to improve navigation and make information easier to access.
  • Updates are already under way, with the new section set to be live ahead of the Addicks’ Championship opener against Derby County on Saturday, August 15th.

Supporters are encouraged to continue sending queries to fans@cafc.co.uk, which remains the primary point of contact. Emails are monitored during the club’s working hours.
