Charlton's U18s got back to winning ways on Saturday, as they beat Peterborough United's U18s 3-2 at Sparrows Lane.
Goals from Zaion Christian and Raynon Richman helped the young Addicks to all three points.
The first 45 minutes was an even contest with both sides creating chances in front of goal, but the two teams went into half-time level.
Jason Pearce's side got themselves ahead first through an own goal on 52 minutes. Posh then levelled the scoring through defender Aaron Sudakaran.
Charlton were the more dominant side and were rewarded for their efforts when Zaion Christian put them back in front in the 75th minute.
Peterborough remained in the contest, and equalised once again late on in the second half through Maxim Mlityalwa.
The young Addicks showed great determination to secure all three points after twice losing their lead during the game. With just seconds left on the clock, Raynon Richman fired home to snatch all three points for Charlton at the death.
The game ended 3-2 to the Addicks, as they got themselves back on the winning trail in the Professional Development League.
Charlton's U18s are next in action on Saturday, September 26th as they travel to South Yorkshire to take on Sheffield United's U18s (11am BST).
