Jodie Hutton signs new contract!

Jodie Hutton new contract

Charlton Athletic are delighted to announce that Jodie Hutton has signed a new contract with the club, keeping her here for another year, with an option of a one-year extension.

"I’m over the moon to extend my contract. I’ve really enjoyed the two seasons I’ve already had here, and I’ve developed as a player, and also as a person."

Hutton made 28 appearances in all competitions for the Addicks last season, scoring six times overall and won the BWSL2 Player of the Month award for October.

Hutton joined Charlton in the summer of 2024 and has been a mainstay in Karen Hills' side since.

Before joining Charlton, Hutton played the majority of her career at Aston Villa, progressing through their academy to the senior team from 2017 to 2022.

In that time, she won promotion to the WSL before replicating that achievement during her time at Bristol City in the 2022/23 season, when the Robins won the Barclays WSL2 title.

She then made the move to Sheffield United in 2023 before joining Charlton the year after and is now ready to make her mark in the WSL for Charlton.

"We achieved our goal last season, and I’m buzzing to be a part of this club in the WSL. Here’s to making more special memories!"
