Ash Neville has spoken to the media following defeat to Chelsea and believes the team can learn important lessons from the match:
"It's very difficult, I think, to concede six goals at home ground. We knew it was going to be tough from the beginning. I mean, we're playing against, you know, the champions of the league, Champions League, international players, like a squad that have been in this league a long time. I can't take it away from them.
"They're an incredible team. But yeah, some things for us to learn and moving to next week. I think there's a few positives that we can take from that.
"I think that's exactly what we said at halftime. The first 20 minutes, I think, was a bit of a shock for us. And then it took us that long to get into the game, to find our shape and to find the kind of way we wanted to defend and play. But yeah, we will take that into next week.
"But we need to start better. We can't be conceding four goals in that 20 minutes, because then it puts you on the back foot for the whole game. A difficult time for the club at the minute.
"If I'm being honest, the group are incredible. I think we knew from the start that it was going to be really difficult.
"But the group that Karen's got here is really, really, really positive. And like each week, we're working harder and harder and taking what we can. And it's a massive learning curve for a lot of people here.
"But yeah, hopefully my experience can help boost that, like you say, that morale and kind of keep us pushing on."
