My Charlton supporting days extend back to the era of Hales and Flanagan, with the vivid childhood memory of promotion on a midweek evening as we beat Preston North End. I now have season tickets for both men and women’s teams. I joined the board of Charlton Athletic Supporters’ Trust [CAST] in 2015 and was elected as Chair of CAST in 2020, leading to a role on the Advisory Board from the outset. 

I strive to ensure we offer serious counsel to the football club, while representing CAST and reflecting Charlton’s heritage of fan activism. In response to the Football Governance Act, Charlton has chosen a different path from many clubs in establishing a stakeholder advisory board rather than solely a fan advisory board. I am keen to embrace the opportunity of contributing not only alongside other fans but also CACT, the Ex-Players’ Association and the hospitality representative.

The club's most successful period in recent memory was built on a foundation of the owners and directors listening to fans and stakeholders and all pulling in the same direction. I’ll do my best to make sure that the Advisory Board focuses on re-establishing that spirit and ambition.
