FANS' FORUM | Recruitment, category one and the importance of season-ticket holders

Charlton Owner, Thomas Sandgaard, and club staff met with supporter representatives last Friday for the latest Fans’ Forum.

In the meeting Sandgaard answered questions about appointing a CEO, the club’s recruitment strategy, his aims for Charlton, the fan-led review, the club’s category one aims, the learnings from the Fill The Valley activity and the importance of valuing season-ticket holders.

A variety of operational queries were also raised as part of the meeting.

Speaking after the meeting, Sandgaard said: “Regular, transparent communication with supporters is very important to me. I’d like to thank the supporter representatives for attending the meeting. They raised some important issues and provided some useful feedback to help us shape improvements both big and small.”

Fan Adviser, Lucy Bishop, said: "It was great to meet with supporter representatives and the club to talk through a range of topics. 

"I'm pleased to say that some of the operational issues can be resolved immediately, and plans are in place to push forward longer-term projects, such as Fill The Valley, in collaboration with fans."
