WOMEN’S PREVIEW | Charlton v Sunderland

Charlton Women return to FA Women’s Championship action on Sunday afternoon (2pm) as Karen Hills’ side host Sunderland at The Oakwood.

As many as seven Addicks represented their countries during the recent international break, though all eyes are now firmly fixed on the Black Cats as the Addicks look to maintain their 100% record on home soil this season, having registered triumphs against Coventry United, Blackburn and Bristol City respectively.

Having recorded back-to-back wins in their opening two games this term, the visitors have now gone four league games without tasting victory - drawing two and losing two - to leave them sat 8th in the table ahead of their first meeting with the Addicks this weekend.
