Millar helps Canada to 11-0 World Cup qualifying victory

Addicks winger Liam Millar helped Canada to an emphatic 11-0 victory over the Cayman Islands on Monday evening.

The Liverpool loanee started the CONCACAF World Cup qualifier in Florida with his side dominating throughout with Frank Sturing, Cyle Larin, David Wotherspoon, Alphonso Davies (2), Mark-Anthony Kaye, Alistair Johnston and Lucas Cavallini (3) all scoring in a record victory for the Canada men's national side.

Millar left the field with his side 6-0 up as he was substituted in the 61st minute of the game which had been delayed from Sunday after the opposition had failed to produce COVID testing results.

Elsewhere on the international front, Chris Gunter will be part of the Wales squad as they prepare for their World Cup Qualifier against Czech Republic on Tuesday evening (7.45pm).

The Addicks full-back made history as he became the first player to reach 100 caps for Wales in a friendly victory over Mexico in Cardiff on Saturday.
