Women's First Time Visitors Guide

This Saturday Charlton Athletic Women take on Aston Villa Women at The Valley. Here’s everything you need to know for the match in our women's Valley first time visitors guide.

Where is the game being played?

The match will take place at The Valley, Floyd Road, Charlton, SE7 8BL.

What time is kick-off

Kick-off is 3pm on Saturday, October 12th

What time does the ground open?

The ground will open to fans 90 minutes before kick-off

How much are tickets?

The ticket office opens at 12.30pm on Saturday. Tickets cost £10 for adults and £5 for concessions.

Which turnstiles are open?

Fans can enter the ground via turnstiles 11 and 12 in the West Stand. Turnstiles will be busy close to kick-off so fans are advised to arrive early.

Will Millennium Lounge be open?

Millennium Lounge will be open to all fans pre-match and at half time on a first come first serve basis. Entry to the lounge can be made by heading to the back of the West Stand after you have entered the ground through the turnstiles.

Is food and drink available inside the ground?

Yes a food kiosk will be open for fans inside the ground.

Will a Family Activity Zone be running?

Yes a Family Activity Zone will be running inside the car park between 12:30pm untill 2:30pm.

Will the club shop be open before the game?

Yes the club shop will be open to fans ahead of the match

How do I get to The Valley?

Car

Fans are not permitted to park inside the ground. Local roads will may have parking restrictions so fans are recommended to check all road signs before parking. Public transport is recommended.

Train

Charlton station is the nearest train station to The Valley and is just a three-minute walk away. Charlton station is served by trains travelling from London Cannon Street, London Charing Cross, Dartford and Gillingham.

Tube

North Greenwich is the closest tube station to The Valley. Located right outside of the O2 Arena, North Greenwich is served by the Jubilee Line and also has a large bus stop.

Bus

London Buses 472, 486, 161, 177, 180 and 380 stop near to The Valley. Some of these can be boarded from North Greenwich tube station, which is around a 10-minute journey from The Valley

Cash machines

Supporters needing to withdraw cash before entering The Valley can do so from the stadium’s cashpoint. This is located on the side of the Valley Superstore, just inside of the main gates. The Valley’s cashpoint can get very busy on matchdays. There are also cashpoints located outside of Charlton train station on either side of the road.

Charlton Museum

The Charlton Athletic Museum – located in The Valley’s Covered End – is open 12:00pm until 3:00pm and gives you the opportunity to learn about the club’s illustrious history. Entry is free, though supporters are welcome to make a voluntary donation to the museum.
