Charlton Manager Lee Bowyer believes Charlton need to respect Plymouth Argyle on Saturday despite their league position.
The Pilgrims sit at the bottom of the Sky Bet League One table picking up just three draws in their opening eight games of the season.
However, Bowyer said: “They have good players, I don’t think they deserve to be where they are in the league. I think they started badly last season, they were bottom and then all of a sudden they were fourth. I don’t think their squad has changed that much.
“I know they’ve brought in a couple of players, the striker up top is a strong, powerful lad who holds the ball up well. Stuart O’Keefe in the middle of the park is an experienced player. They’ve got dangerous players (Graham) Carey, (Joel) Grant, (Ruben) Lameiras. They’ve got players that can hurt you. We’ve got to respect them, they are going to come and try and win the game like every team does. The most important thing is that we’re ready and that we go into the game to win and having the right attitude.”

Bowyer also confirmed that Krystian Bielik would miss Saturday’s game and that Patrick Bauer is set to be out for around 10 weeks.
He said: “We were hoping to get Krystian back for this weekend and have him on the bench but that was trying to rush things and push things through. It’s going to be too soon for him so we’ll look to get him back in training with us at some stage next week and hopefully play a part against Luton but for this weekend it’s not going to happen.”
