MATCH PREVIEW | Rochdale v Charlton

Come 7.30pm on Saturday night, Charlton will hope to have secured their place in the Sky Bet League One play-offs (5.30pm kick-off).

Their final-day clash pits them against relegation-threatened Rochdale, with Dale in need of at least a point – and a result to go in their favour – in order to seal survival.

In Charlton, Dale will come up against a team who have won six of their nine matches under the stewardship of Lee Bowyer, winning their last three without conceding a goal.

Only Plymouth Argyle can pip the Addicks to sixth spot and, backed by another healthy away following, the south-east Londoners will be confident of securing the point they need to absolutely assure themselves of a top-six finish.

Charlton will remain without Tariqe Fosu for the match against Rochdale as he continues his recovery from a hamstring injury. Lewis Page is out with a deep cut to his knee but Anfernee Dijksteel could return.

Chris Solly and Billy Clarke are both still sidelined with knee injuries. To read the latest from Charlton's treatment room, please click here.

For Rochdale, Ian Henderson is eligible to return after serving a four-match suspension. Keith Keane is out with a groin problem, while cheekbone and ankle injuries will keep out Andy Cannon and Niall Canavan.

Charlton and Rochdale have meet 15 times in the past, with the Addicks winning nine times and Dale three times. There have also been three draws.

The two sides last met at The Valley earlier this season. A Jake Forster-Caskey double earned the Addicks a 2-1 win and highlights from that match are available to watch on Valley Pass.

Tony Harrington will take charge of Saturday’s final-day clash at the Crown Oil Arena.

So far this season, he has overseen 34 matches – the majority of which have come in the Championship – where he has brandished 117 yellow cards and six reds.

Harrington last officiated the Addicks in April 2015 for the club’s 2-1 victory away at Leeds United.

He will be supported by linesmen Mark Dwyer and Geoffrey Russell and fourth official Robert Lewis.

Supporters can follow all the build-up to the game on Charlton's official Twitter account, official Instagram account, Facebook page and official Snapchat account.

Live commentary of the clash will be available on Valley Pass exclusively for subscribers. Please click here for more information on how you can subscribe to Valley Pass and how you can purchase a 48-hour matchday pass, which is priced at just £4.
