Charlton will look to build on last week’s home win against Walsall and make it four wins from four when they head to Blackpool this Saturday (3pm).
The Seasiders have only won one league game out of their past ten and are without a home win in eight, making their home form the worst in the league currently.
The Addicks, meanwhile, will be hoping that last weekend’s win over Walsall will help to keep their current form running, as they aim to reinstate their place in the play-offs.
Patrick Bauer will travel with the squad after returning to first-team training this week. However, Jason Pearce is not expected to travel.
Karl Robinson will continue to be without Billy Clarke and Leon Best, who remain side-lined with long-term injuries.
Blackpool will be bolstered by the return of Curtis Tilt from suspension, after the defender served a two-game ban for collecting ten yellow cards this season.
However, Jim McAlister and Mark Cullen will remain side-lined for the Tangerines.
Blackpool and Charlton have met a total of 61 times over the years, with the Addicks winning on 18 occasions. There have also been 15 draws, and 28 wins for the Tangerines.
The Seasiders haven’t beaten the Addicks in the last eight meetings, with their last win over the visitors coming on the 6th December 2008.
Carl Boyeson will be the referee for this Saturday’s tie at Bloomfield Road.
Boyeson has overseen 24 games in all competitions this season and has given out a total of 64 yellow cards, and 9 red cards.
The referee was in charge of the Addicks’ 2-2 draw with Walsall back in September earlier this season, in which he produced three yellow cards.
He will be supported by Fourth Official Joe Simpson and linesmen Richard Bartlett and Graeme Fyvie.
