Charlton's U18s began their 2026/27 season with a win at the weekend, as they beat Fleetwood Town's U18s 3-1 away at Poolfoot Farm.
The home side took the lead just before half-time, through an own goal by Addicks defender Harry Randall. Charlton trailed 1-0 at the break.
It didn't take long for the Addicks to pull themselves level, as Raynon Richman netted on 57 minutes.
Jason Pearce’s side were handed the chance to take the lead on 72 minutes, when they were awarded a penalty. Kayode Peterkin stepped up from the spot and calmly converted, putting Charlton ahead with just under 20 minutes remaining.
Substitute Jayden Twum added a third late on to give the Addicks a two-goal cushion. Lauren De Castro provided the assist, with Twum finding the net to make it 3-1.
The U18s are back in action on Saturday, August 22nd, as they take on Huddersfield Town's U18s at Sparrows Lane (11am BST).
