Young Lives vs Cancer Bucket Collection

Following the tragic passing of Ben Jay back in 2022, the Jay family set up The Ben Jay Butterfly Fund to support Young Lives vs Cancer, who provided vital support to Ben and his family throughout his treatment.

There will be a Young Lives vs Cancer bucket collection in and around the ground on Saturday afternoon. The Jay family have raised over £31,000 in Ben’s name and supporters are encouraged to donate if they are able to do so.

Junior Addicks Day

Saturday's clash with Portsmouth is the club's dedicated Junior Addicks Day. Any young supporters who are signed up to the Junior Addicks membership scheme for the 2026/27 season can collect their welcome packs from Valley Central between 12pm and 2pm.

The Junior Addicks will also take part in a parade around The Valley pitch at half-time.

The club shop will be open for one hour post-game.

Bag policy 

Supporters attending Saturday's fixture with bags or luggage should be aware of the club's bag policy for the 2026/27 season.

Transparent bags are permitted inside the stadium. Reusable transparent bags are available to purchase from the club shop for 80p, allowing supporters to carry personal belongings or newly purchased merchandise into the ground.

Supporters bringing a laptop bag will be permitted to take it into the stadium, but it will be subject to a search before entry.

A new bag drop service will also be in operation for Wednesday's fixture. Located at the Covered End Reception, the bag drop will open from 12.30pm. Small bags can be stored for £5 per item, while bags larger than a rucksack will be charged £10 per item.

Food and beverage vendors 

New food and drink offerings have been introduced throughout The Valley for the 2026/27 season. 

New food vendors can be found in the outdoor Fan Zone, where Nanny Bills will be serving burgers, while Nazari will be serving middle-eastern and mediterranean cuisine.

In select kiosks in the Covered End, West Stand and the Alan Curbishley stand, there are signature offerings of burgers and seasoned chicken strips and chips.

The Meantime Fans' Bar will also have food offerings of pizzas and burgers. 

Pukka Pies and Mom's Bad Boy Hotdogs will be available throughout the entirety of the stadium.

Valley Express

Supporters can travel to every home league game from across Kent and Sussex for just £13 per match with a 2026/27 Valley Express seasonal pass.

The Valley Express service provides reliable, affordable and safe transport to and from SE7, with convenient pick‑up points across Kent and Sussex. It offers fans a stress‑free way to reach The Valley while making significant savings compared with train travel.

Museum

The Charlton Athletic Museum is open from 11am until 1pm on a home matchday. The Museum - located in The Valley’s Covered End - is run by a group of volunteer trustees, who dedicate their time to finding out more about the club’s illustrious history. 

Pre-match content

The Valley Superstore 

The Valley Superstore has been revamped and renovated ahead of the 2026/27 campaign. The store has a new look and feel, and is fully stocked with this season's kits, as well as the training wear and other items.

Valley Gold Crossbar Challenge

There will be £7,000 up for grabs in the Valley Gold Crossbar Challenge on Saturday, as the competition's jackpot rolls over again from last season.

The nominated supporter will have one opportunity to hit the crossbar from the edge of the area in front of the Covered End at half-time to win the prize pot.
