The Addicks return to Sky Bet Championship action on Saturday afternoon when they host Portsmouth at The Valley (3pm BST).
Nathan Jones' men will be looking to get back on the winning trail following a goalless draw with Queens Park Rangers in midweek.
TEAM NEWS
Will Mannion (shoulder), Kayne Ramsay (ankle), Billy Koumetio (hamstring), Collins Sichenje (knee), Nathaniel Chalobah (thigh) and Matty Godden (hamstring) are all sidelined for the Addicks.
Danny McNamara is available again having served his one-game suspension, while Josh Edwards (ankle) and Charlie Kelman (shoulder) have both returned to full training.
As for Pompey, Luke Brooke-Smith (ankle) will miss out after sustaining an injury in training. The New Zealander joins Connor Oglivie (knee), Jacob Farrell (groin), Márk Kosnovszky (knee), Keshi Anderson (thigh), Josh Murphy (groin), Franco Umeh (hamstring) and Thomas Waddingham (ankle) on the sidelines.
THE OPPOSITION
Portsmouth had no midweek clash following the postponement of their trip to Molineux Stadium that was originally set for Wednesday, September 9th.
They ran out 2-0 victors over Cardiff City in their last league outing and currently sit on a tally of six points after five fixtures.
HEAD-TO-HEAD
Portsmouth are Charlton's most frequently played opponents over the course of their 121-year history. The two sides have gone head-to-head on 118 occasions, with the Addicks winning 40 times, Pompey 48 and the remaining 30 encounters ending in draws.
Charlton’s last victory over Portsmouth in SE7 came in Sky Bet League One in October 2022. Ryan Inniss, Corey Blackett-Taylor and Eoghan O'Connell were all on the scoresheet for the Addicks in a 3-0 win.
REF WATCH
Andrew Kitchen will oversee proceedings on Saturday afternoon. The referee has taken charge of four Championship games so far this season, dishing out 15 yellow cards and no red cards.
He will be assisted by Blake Antrobus and Jacob Graham, while James Oldham will act as the Fourth Official.

The Fan Zone, Bartram's and the Fans' Bar will all be open for supporters to enjoy from 12pm and will remain open for an hour post-game.
The Valley Superstore opens at 10am and will be open for an hour after the full-time whistle.
