The Addicks head to The Hawthorns on Wednesday evening as they take on West Bromwich Albion in the first of a double-header away from home this week (7.45pm BST).
Nathan Jones' men will be looking to extend their perfect start to the Sky Bet Championship campaign having gained maximum points from their first three outings - the only one of the EFL's 72 clubs to achieve the feat.
TEAM NEWS
Collins Sichenje (knee) and Kayne Ramsay (ankle) will remain absent for the trip to the Midlands, as will Matty Godden (hamstring).
Billy Koumetio (hamstring) will also likely miss out, while the game is expected to come too soon for the returns of Charlie Kelman (shoulder) and Josh Edwards (ankle), who are getting up to speed after the pair returned to training.
Will Mannion (shoulder) will also be unavailable, while Nathaniel Chalobah (thigh) will be assessed after he was forced off during Saturday’s 1-0 victory over Preston North End.
Meanwhile, new arrival Tyler Bindon could be involved for the first time after the defender landed on loan at The Valley from Nottingham Forest over the Bank Holiday weekend.
As for the Baggies, winger Mikey Johnston (ankle) is their only injury concern.
THE OPPOSITION
West Brom suffered their first league defeat of the season on Saturday as they went down 3-1 at Middlesbrough.
They began their campaign with back-to-back wins over Norwich City and Burnley as they look to improve on last season’s 21st-place finish in the Championship.
HEAD-TO-HEAD
Charlton have faced off against the Baggies on 64 previous occasions, with the Addicks winning 22 and the Baggies 21, while the remaining 21 encounters have ended in draws.
The last meeting at The Hawthorns ended in a 1-1 draw in February, with Lyndon Dykes’ 70th-minute strike cancelling out George Campbell’s first-half opener.
Charlton’s last victory away at West Brom came in the Premier League in September 2005, with Danny Murphy netting a double in a 2-1 win.
REF WATCH
Farai Hallam will be the man in the middle on Wednesday evening. The referee took charge of 34 games during the 2025/26 season, dishing out 111 yellow cards, but completed the campaign without having to produce a red.
He will be assisted by Alex James and Joseph Larkin, with Tom Nield as the Fourth Official.
