Charlton travel up the M1 to face Birmingham City on Sunday, October 25, in a clash between two of last season's three promoted teams (2pm GMT).
TEAM NEWS
After 171 days, Charlotte Newsham returned to running on the pitch this week as she continues her recovery from injury. The Scotland international is aiming to return to playing in the new year, which will come as a boost to all associated with Charlton Women.
The Addicks registered their first win of the season on Wednesday, beating Bristol City in the Subway Players Cup. Goals from Emily van Egmond and Lizzie Waldie - both their first for the club - helped Charlton to a 2-0 victory and points on the board.
THE OPPOSITION
Birmingham City sit just above Charlton in the league table in 13th with three points. They gained their points through three draws, most recently earning a point at the Emirates in the WSL and, midweek, the Blues beat Durham 5-0 in the Subway Players Cup.
One player to watch for Birmingham is Océane Hurtré. The WSL Player of the Month for September has six goals already, having taken to the WSL well in her first season at Birmingham.
HEAD-TO-HEAD
Birmingham City have won just one of their last eight league games against the Addicks (D3 L4), with that sole win coming on the final day of the WSL2 last season.
Charlton have kept a clean sheet in each of their last three away league games against Birmingham City, taking seven points from those matches (two 1-0 wins and a 0-0 draw).
