Charlton Athletic are delighted to announce that Ellie Mason has signed a new contract with the club.
Mason has extended her stay in SE7 for another year, after helping the Addicks achieve promotion to the Barclays WSL last season.
The Northern Ireland international enjoyed an impressive campaign in a Charlton shirt, making a valuable contribution as Karen Hills’ side earned a place in the top flight.
After putting pen to paper, Mason said: “I am buzzing, I am really happy to sign a new contract. Especially after last season and what we achieved, I am over the moon. I love this club, I love the players and the staff, I couldn’t be happier.”
The defender is looking forward to playing in the top flight with Charlton.
"I am buzzing. There are big stadiums, big clubs, big names, big players. It is going to be hard and challenging, but we have a strong team, and I am really excited. It will be a season to remember."
