Charlton Athletic Women signed France international Hawa Cissoko ahead of the 2026/27 season

Cissoko returns to the English game after two years in Italy, signing a one-year contract with an option at the Addicks

Cissoko played for Paris Saint-Germain, Marseille and Soyaux-Charente, before making the move to England to play for Barclays WSL side West Ham.

Cissoko will wear the number 19 for Charlton, one of two numbers that mean a lot to her: "My number is [really] 23, and my second number is 19 just because it’s my area in Paris. My family and friends are happy when I can represent the town."
