Charlton Athletic signed Anna Koivunen from Swedish side Djurgårdens in the summer of 2026.

Koivunen arrived at Charlton after spending five years in Sweden, having played in her native Finland before.

She has been capped six times by the Finnish national team and was in the squad when they competed at the 2025 UEFA Women's Euros, keeping a clean sheet in the tournament's opening match.
