Grace Johnston joined the Addicks from A-League Women's side Perth Glory in June 2026.

The 21-year-old arrived in SE7 on a two-year contract with the option of a further year. Johnston joined from Perth Glory, where she spent the majority of her career so far, playing in the A-League Women.

The move was Johnston's first outside of her native Australia, as she looks to make her mark in England's top flight. Comfortable in both defence and midfield, Johnston adds valuable versatility to Karen Hills' squad.

Johnston has achieved significant success at international level, having represented Australia across different age groups. Most recently, she helped the U23s lift the 2025 ASEAN Championship.
