Zach Mitchell is set to miss the remainder of the 2026/27 season with a knee injury sustained during his loan spell with St Johnstone and has returned to the club for treatment.
Mitchell had made nine appearances for St Johnstone since returning to the Scottish Premiership outfit on a season-long loan in July, but was forced off during the Saints’ 1-1 draw with Falkirk on September 19th.
The defender has undergone successful surgery and will commence his rehabilitation with the club’s medical staff.
