Anthony Hayes’ side come into the fixture on the back of a 2-1 triumph over near neighbours Millwall last time out, leaving the Addicks sat 6th in the league table having accumulated 10 points from seven outings thus far this term.

The visitors, meanwhile, have enjoyed a flying start to the 2021/22 campaign, winning six of their opening seven games, though the Robins’ most recent outing saw them condemned to a 2-0 reverse by Queens Park Rangers last Tuesday.

The last meeting between the Addicks and the Robins came at the Optima Stadium in February as the sides played out a seven-goal thriller, with the hosts triumphing 4-3.

The hosts assumed complete control within 15 minutes thanks to Tommy Conway’s early penalty and a quickfire Louis Britton brace in as many minutes, before Aaron Henry reduced the arrears three minutes after the interval.

Conway then bagged his second 16 minutes from time, though a late Addicks rally saw Charles Clayden and Henry both net, but the Robins saw out the game to claim maximum points.
