Charlton's U23s fell to defeat at the hands of Wigan Athletic at the DW Stadium on Monday evening.
Mason Burstow opened the scoring for the Addicks after 12 minutes, rounding off an excellently-worked passing move by stroking home a first-time finish from eight yards.
But the hosts would peg the Londoners back in the 26th minute through Thelo Aasgaard who stretched to fire a shot into the back of the net after Charlton failed to clear an initial cross.
The winner came in the 53rd minute - Divin Baningime with a smart finish at the near post to hand Wigan all three points.
