How to get your place at Charlton and Charlton Women's opening training session at The Valley

Charlton members can reserve their place at a special open training session at The Valley on July 30th.

At the session, which is set to start at 11am, members will be able to watch the first team and women’s team train on the pitch as both sides continue their preparations for the 2021/22 campaign.

Members attending will also get the opportunity to take part in an exclusive question and answer session with Charlton legend Alan Curbishley from 10am.

Adult, junior and teen members can reserve their place at the session by clicking here. Supporters who haven’t got a membership but want to attend the training session can click here to purchase a membership, which comes with plenty of other benefits, exclusive gifts and prize draws to money-can’t-buy events and experiences – click here to find out more about the excellent membership benefits.

Work being done on the pitch at The Valley means that there won’t be a home pre-season friendly but Charlton Manager Nigel Adkins wanted to give supporters the opportunity to see the team in action before the 2021/22 campaign kicks-off against Sheffield Wednesday at The Valley on August 7th.

As well as watching the players train, supporters will be able to hear from Adkins and Charlton Women’s Manager Karen Hills, talking through the session they have put on for their players.

The club will also be revealing the full Charlton Athletic Women’s team squad for the 2021/22 season at the event. Following Thomas Sandgaard’s takeover, the team turned professional on July 1st, and while a few players will be announced in the weeks preceding the event, the session gives supporters the opportunity to see the whole squad in action.

Season-ticket holders who aren’t members are able to purchase a ticket to the training session here for £10 or alternatively can purchase a membership by clicking here and then reserve their place at the event. Members and season-ticket holders will be able to secure their seat at the training session until 9am on July 29th.

Any international members who wish to attend the event and are in the country should contact the ticket office directly.

The event is set to take place with supporters in the West Stand but capacity may be increased based on demand. The question and answer session with Alan Curbishley is only available for members, who will get early access to the stadium on the day to attend the session. Season-ticket holders who aren’t members and purchase a ticket will only be able to access the open training session.
