TEAM NEWS | Two changes for Rochdale clash

Lee Bowyer has made two changes to his side to take on Rochdale at The Valley on Tuesday evening.

Following Friday's 2-0 loss at home to Accrington Stanley, midfielder Jonny Williams comes into the starting XI, while Chuks Aneke also returns after completing the last 45 minutes four days ago.

Bowyer names an unchanged defence with Ben Amos in goal while Jason Pearce captains the side alongside Deji Oshilaja. Ian Maatsen and Chris Gunter complete the defence. Jake Forster-Caskey will once again feature in the centre of midfield alongside Alex Gilbey and Jonny Williams.

After impressing on his debut, Liam Millar keeps his place. The loanee will be looking to net his first goal for the club.

Ryan Inniss and Alfie Doughty remain sidelined, as do Akin Famewo and Andrew Shinnie, although the latter duo may be back in the squad for next week's trip to Peterborough United.

Marcus Maddison is absent from the squad, having picked up an injury against Accrington Stanley whilst Ben Watson misses out with a hamstring injury. Darren Pratley is serving the second of a three-game suspension.

January signing Ronnie Schwartz is named on the bench once again alongside Omar Bogle, who returns to the squad.

Charlton: Amos, Gunter, Pearce, Oshilaja, Maatsen; Forster-Caskey, Gilbey, Williams; Smyth, Millar, Aneke.
