Addicks to face Birmingham and Palace in pre-season friendlies

Friendlies

Charlton will take on Birmingham City and Crystal Palace in behind-closed-doors friendlies as part of their preparation for the 2020/21 season.

Lee Bowyer takes his squad to the Belfry in the West Midlands this week for a pre-season training camp and, as part of that trip, they will take on the Blues at their training ground on Saturday in a first friendly fixture.

A week later, Bowyer’s men will take on Palace at Selhurst Park on Saturday, August 29th.

The Addicks’ boss has already confirmed that the Carabao Cup first-round tie at Swindon Town, which is set to take place on Saturday, September 5th, will be approached in much the same way as a pre-season friendly, with the cup clash taking place a week before the league season kicks off.

Updates from both games will be provided via the club's Twitter account. Meanwhile, the club are looking at the possibility of streaming the game against Crystal Palace live on Valley Pass and will update supporters should it be made possible.
