Relive the 1987 play-off final replay for free this weekend

On May 29th 1987 the Addicks beat Leeds United in extra-time to maintain their place in the top flight in a historic play-off final.

After Lennie Lawrence’s First Division side could not be separated from Second Division Leeds United after two legs, it came down to a replay at Birmingham City’s St Andrew’s with Yorkshireman Peter Shirtliff proving the difference. 

To celebrate Friday's anniversary of the historic game, fans can relive that day below, for free. The extended highlights will be available all weekend.
