“We need a lot of support from the fans for the weekend”

Ahead of Sunday’s fourth round FA Cup clash against Chelsea, the club caught up with midfield duo Lily Woodham and Charlie Estcourt.

Estcourt, who spent four years at Chelsea’s academy, is looking forward to playing with freedom on Sunday.

“Hopefully it will give us a bit of confidence because we’re playing under no pressure,” the 21 year-old explained.

“We’re the underdog in the game so hopefully we can just go out and show them what we can do.”

19 year-old Woodham is relishing the chance to play in front of a big crowd, and urges fans to get tickets and support the team.

“We’re really excited about it, it’s always nice to test yourself against a top club. We need a lot of support from the fans for the weekend.”

“I think having an atmosphere at the game always boosts you. To the fans I’d say go and grab your tickets as soon as you can, it’s going to be a good game to be at.”

Estcourt continued; “Having the fans there and creating an atmosphere will really help us push on in the game. Obviously it will be a tough game but to have more fans out there supporting us will be really helpful.”

The Wales International is also looking forward to seeing some familiar faces from her former club.

“I'm excited, it’s always nice to play against and see some familiar faces so yeah it will be good to see them.”
