YOUNG FAN OF THE WEEK | Riley Cruden

Riley Cruden became the latest winner of the Young Fan of The Week award when we took on Sheffield Wednesday last Sunday.

The accolade - which is awarded at every weekend home game - rewards junior Addicks fans for showing great support for the team.

Before the fixture against the Owls last Saturday, Riley was invited pitchside to meet and receive a signed Charlton football from the squad.

We asked Riley some questions about his favourite team...

Why I came a Charlton fan... My grandad took me to my first game. He supports Charlton

My first game at The Valley was… It was Cardiff City at home on Boxing Day in 2014. The score was 1-1

My first away day with Charlton was… My first away game was Gillingham in 2016. We lost so that wasn’t very good!

My favourite Charlton game is… The play-off final at Wembley last year against Sunderland, because Patrick Bauer scored in the last minute.

My favourite Charlton player is… Lyle Taylor because he scored a great free kick last season against Scunthorpe

My favourite Charlton kit is…This seasons 3rd kit is my favourite one yet

The best part of being a Charlton fan is… You will never know what the result will be until the end!

The Charlton player of the season will be… Dillon Phillips because he’s improved a lot.

The game I am most looking forward to is… Millwall at home because we will get revenge

If Charlton could sign any player in the world who would it be? Just a new contract for Taylor! Because he is the best goalscorer.
