The international break is finally behind us and if you’re coming down to the Valley on Saturday for the game against Derby County, keep your eyes peeled for these five things…

Young Greenwich Day: Gather around The Valley from 12pm – 2.30pm to celebrate Young Greenwich Day and help raise awareness for cancer research. The day of fun includes a range of activities such as: 

• Football skills (cafc cage)

• Live boxing sessions with Champions 4 Change 

• Live judo sessions with Metro Judo club 

• Games and challenges from B young Stars, YMCA Thames Gateway & Royal Museums Greenwich 

• Hula hooping challenges with Streetwise Law

• Badge making

• Soft Archery

• Music & entertainment

Meet Lyle Taylor in the club shop: Visit the club shop from 1pm – 2.15pm where Lyle Taylor will be meeting supporters, signing autographs, and raising money for his Pink October Campaign as part of #LylesPinkOctober. The Superstore itself is getting into the spirit with the shop turning pink and one staff member even enduring a painful leg wax at 12pm.

Watch the Rugby World Cup: Fancy an early serving of sport before the Addicks take on the Rams? Bartram’s bar will be opening at 8am to show England’s Rugby World Cup quarter-final clash against Australia, with a full English and tea/coffee breakfast special available for just £5.

Play FIFA 20: Head to the Family Activity Zone located in Valley Central and the West Stand Car Park from 1.15pm – 2.30pm to enjoy some fun before kick-off including the opportunity to play the new FIFA 20 thanks to Smyths Toys.
