Adam Matthews will make his Charlton debut in today's match against Swansea City at The Valley.

Matthews joined the club after impressing while training with the Addicks this summer and is one of four changes from the side that beat Leeds United on Saturday.

Jason Pearce, Sam Field and Erhun Oztumer all return to the lineup with Naby Sarr, Jonny Williams and Darren Pratley moving to the bench, while Chris Solly is rested.

The Addicks are again likely to start in the 4-4-2 diamond formation with Dillon Phillips in goal behind a defence of Matthews, Tom Lockyer, Jason Pearce and Ben Purrington making up the back four.

Field will likely hold in midfield with Josh Cullen and Conor Gallagher ahead of him. Oztumer is expected to play behind the front two of Jonathan Leko and Macauley Bonne, who netted the winner in his full Championship debut on Saturday.
