TEAM NEWS | Four changes for the Addicks as Oztumer makes Charlton debut

Erhun Oztumer will make his full Charlton debut in tonight’s game against Nottingham Forest at The Valley.

There is also a first league appearance for Sam Field as one of four changes from the side that drew 2-2 with Barnsley at Oakwell on Saturday.

Fans not at The Valley today can watch the game live on Valley Pass from 7.30pm. You can find out more here.

Naby Sarr and Deji Oshilaja also start as Jason Pearce, Jonny Williams and Darren Pratley move to the bench. Chris Solly is not in the squad after suffering a head injury on Saturday.

With no Pearce or Solly, it is Lyle Taylor, who has netted a goal in each of his first three league games, who will wear the captain’s armband,

If Lee Bowyer opts for the diamond formation used against Barnsley then Oshilaja, Tom Lockyer, Sarr and Ben Purrington will man the defence in front of Dillon Phillips.

Field or Josh Cullen will likely anchor the midfield, with the other partnering the in-form Conor Gallagher in midfield. Oztumer would then likely start behind the front two of Taylor and Jonathan Leko.

Ben Amos, George Lapslie, Macauley Bonne and Chuks Aneke join Pearce, Williams and Pratley on the bench.
