Charlton welcome Nottingham Forest to The Valley on Wednesday night with the Addicks looking to extend their strong start to the season. Lee Bowyer's side have recorded two wins and a hard-fought draw in their return to the Championship so far, and will no doubt be itching to go again, bolstered by two new signings.
Nottingham Forest, who finished ninth in the Championship last season, will be hoping to carry on the momentum from their 3-0 win over Birmingham City at the weekend. They have recorded one loss, one draw and one win in their three games, so far.
Lee Bowyer has welcomed two new faces into the Charlton camp over the last week having finally secured the services of Tomer Hemed and picking up Erhun Oztumer.
Both players will be available for selection for the Addicks, though competition remains difficult among a well assembled Charlton side, while Bowyer will keep a close eye on the pair's fitness.
Defender, Chris Solly, is to be assessed after picking up a head injury in his 300th appearance for Charlton against Barnsley but there are no other fresh injury concerns to trouble Bowyer.
Nottingham Forest's Lewis Grabban has insisted his injury problems are behind him after recovering from his Achilles injury and will be hoping to re-kindle his fine form of last season before being blighted with the setback.
Elsewhere, Forest will be without Yohan Benalouane who is recovering after undergoing surgery.
Charlton boss Lee Bowyer: "They are a very attacking side, I watched their game against Birmingham. Both full-backs play really high and they have got a good striker and their midfield is very solid. They have got some experience and physicality in there.
Nottingham Forest defender, Jack Robinson: "We can't get ahead of ourselves [after beating Birmingham City 3-0]. We need to keep doing it week in, week out and we want to take this into Wednesday. It is good to get the result and a clean sheet as well, we will take that into the next game and build from there.
“Charlton is going to be a tough game, but we will see how we go on Wednesday."
Charlton and Nottingham Forest have met 42 times before and very little separating the two sides as both sides have won 14 times each and played out 14 draws.

Oliver Langford will be the referee on the night and will be joined by his assistants Daniel Leach and Timothy Wood. Those with a sharp memory will remember that Langford was the referee for the Addicks' play-off semi-final clash away to Doncaster Rovers last season.
Langford has refereed three games this season, two in the Championship and the 1-1 Premier League draw between Chelsea and Leicester at the weekend. He had dished out 10 yellow cards, so far.
