FANS' GUIDE | Wembley Stadium

Heading to Wembley on Sunday? Here is everything supporters need to know ahead of the big day...

One of the biggest Charlton followings ever will be descending on Wembley on Sunday with over 38,000 Addicks packing out the west end of the world-famous stadium.

Charlton have been allocated the west side of the stadium which is the right-hand side as you approach the famous arch down Wembley Way (or officially Olympic Way) from Wembley Park station.

Find what turnstile number is shown on your ticket and head for that area with everything very well sign-posted. Due to the huge crowd expected, supporters are urged to arrive at the stadium no later than one hour before kick-off. Turnstiles open from 1pm.

Inside Wembley, the stadium is excellent as you would expect, with loads of room in both the concourse and stands with spacious, comfortable seats and a fantastic view of the action wherever you’re sitting.

Being London, fans should be well-drilled on eateries if they fancy a bite in town before heading north to Wembley. Nearer to the stadium, there are plenty of options in the form of burger vans that line Wembley Way, while the dedicated fan zones offer plenty in the way of both food and drink, including an array of street food outlets.

In the surrounding areas, there are plenty of other restaurants and takeaways. Up towards Wembley Park station, there is a retail park which includes a McDonald’s and Lidl, while to the west side of the stadium, there are plenty of restaurants including TGI Friday's, Nando's and Prezzo amongst others.

Click here for full information on food and drink availability inside the stadium.

Charlton have been allocated a number of pubs. They are as follows:

Boxpark / The Green Man / The Arch / Station 31 (Speakeasy) / JJ Moons / Flannery’s / The Corner House (Mannions) / The Liquor Station.

As well as that, an external Charlton fan zone will be situated at the Events Pad area, on the west side of the stadium, next to the London Design Outlet.

Tickets for Boxpark's Fan Park event can be booked in advance. Free tickets can be booked, but will not guarantee entry if the park is at capacity. However, £10 tickets can be purchased to guarantee entry before 1pm. Click here for more information or to book.

Please see the map below for information on the location of the fan zones as well as a list of all the allocated pubs.

It is strongly advised that supporters take public transport to the stadium due to limited parking. If parking is required, then supporters should book well in advance.

Train travel is by far the easiest way of getting to Wembley. Wembley Park tube station is a five-minute walk from the stadium, giving supporters the experience of taking that famous walk straight down Wembley Way. The Metropolitan and Jubilee lines serve the station with direct trains running straight to Baker Street and Bond Street.

Alternatively, Wembley Central tube station is a 15-minute walk from the stadium as is served by the Bakerloo line, with direct trains straight to Marleybone, Baker Street and Oxford Circus.

Finally, Wembley Stadium station is a five-minute walk and runs overground trains direct to Marylebone Station served by Chiltern Railways.
