AWAY FANS' GUIDE | The Kassam Stadium

Heading to Oxford on Good Friday? Here's everything you need to know about an away day at the Kassam Stadium...

The Kassam Stadium consists of just three stands, with the travelling Addicks housed in the right-hand side (as you look at the pitch) of the North Stand, which runs along one side of the pitch.

The stand offers a good view, with plenty of room, although the concourse is likely to be cosy with a sold-out following.

Since the stadium is situated right next to a retail park, there are a few options nearby. There is a Frankie & Benny’s, a bar and grill called The Ridge, J’s Sports Bar and a pan-Asian buffet named Oxy Oriental. You can also grab a bite to eat in the bowling alley next door, while there is a fish and chip shop in the same complex called the Ozone Plaice. Alternatively, there are plenty of options in the city centre which is around four miles away.

In the city centre, the Eagle and Child is recommended and there are plenty of other options on hand. There is not much near to the ground, but you can grab a pint in the bowling alley or Frankie and Benny’s. The nearby Holiday Inn does have a bar, but do not welcome away fans.

Postcode is OX4 4XP. There is free parking available at the ground and in the complex next door, but be prepared for a slow getaway.

Oxford station is over four miles away so a cab or bus to the ground is advised. Trains run direct from both Paddington, which take approximately one hour, or Marylebone, which takes around one hour, 20 minutes.

The number 3A bus runs from the station to the Kassam Stadium. Alternatively, the number 5 bus runs to just a short walk from the ground.

Around 1,800 supporters will be back the Addicks on Good Friday from a packed out away end with all tickets SOLD OUT!

Tickets for Charlton's next home game - against league Scunthorpe United on Easter Monday - are on sale and can be purchased online by clicking here.
