AWAY FANS' GUIDE | Home Park

Heading to Plymouth Argyle on Saturday? Here's everything you need to know about an away day at Home Park...

The travelling Addicks will be housed behind the goal in the Barn Park End, which is a modern stand with good facilities. Both legroom and view of the action is good, although the concourse can get somewhat cramped with a large contingent of away fans.

The usual fare is available inside the ground, with plenty of Ginsters products on offer due to the pastry company’s long-standing sponsorship of the Pilgrims. There are also a couple of mobile units selling burgers in the car park of the stadium.

There are not too many options near to the ground, with a Tesco Express a short walk from the ground, while a Co-Op and a Lidl are further along Wolesley Road. Alternatively, the Brittannia is a Wetherspoon’s which is in close proximity to Home Park.

The aforementioned Brittannia is the best option closest to the ground, while the Hyde Park Social Club is a good alternative and is situated between the station and the stadium. A little further away, the Plymouth Hoe, which overlooks the sea, is recommended.

The postcode is PL2 3DQ. There is a large, free car park next to the ground which is well stewarded.

Plymouth Station is about 1.5 miles away from Home Park so it’s either a 20-minute walk or a taxi ride away. Trains run from London Paddington directly to Plymouth and take between three and three-and-a-half hours to reach its destination.

Saturday’s game is an all-ticket event, meaning that seats will not be on sale to Charlton fans on the day of the game. Over 800 Addicks have snapped up tickets. They go off sale from The Valley at 1pm on Friday.

Tickets for Charlton's next home game - against league leaders Luton Town on Saturday, April 13th - are on sale and can be purchased online by clicking here.
