TEAM NEWS | Taylor returns as Lee Bowyer makes three changes for Burton Albion clash

Lyle Taylor has been restored to Charlton’s starting XI for Tuesday’s Sky Bet League One clash against Burton Albion at Pirelli Stadium.

The Addicks’ top scorer missed Saturday’s 3-1 win over Bristol Rovers at The Valley through suspension but he will partner Karlan Grant up front in the east midlands.

The team news in full sees Jed Steer start in goal and he will be protected by a back four of Chris Solly, Patrick Bauer, captain Jason Pearce and Naby Sarr, who comes in for Anfernee Dijksteel.

In the middle, Krystian Bielik will anchor the Addicks’ midfield. Joe Aribo and George Lapslie keep their places and Tariqe Fosu comes in for former Brewer Jamie Ward.

Grant and Taylor – who replaces Nicky Ajose - lead the line and, on the bench, Bowyer has Dillon Phillips, Toby Stevenson, Dijksteel, Mark Marshall, Ward, Ajose and Reeco Hackett-Fairchild available in reserve.

Charlton: Steer, Solly, Sarr, Bauer, Pearce (c), Bielik, Lapslie, Aribo, Fosu, Grant, Taylor.

Subs: Phillips, Stevenson, Dijksteel, Marshall, Ward, Ajose, Hackett-Fairchild.
