AWAY FANS' GUIDE | Pirelli Stadium

Charlton make their first ever trip to Pirelli Stadium on Tuesday night and here's what travelling Addicks can expect from their evening at Burton Albion...

Charlton supporters will be housed in the both the East Terrace – behind the goal – and the Main Stand – along the side of the pitch – where seating is available. The view is excellent and is not obstructed by any supporting pillars. Searches will be carried at the turnstiles, so please arrive in plenty of time.

The usual football grub – burgers, pies, hot dogs and confectionary items – are available to purchase from the away end’s concourse using cash. Outside of the stadium, there is a Co-op and a BP petrol station close by and there is also a Sainsbury’s Local not too far away.

The nearest pub is the 'The Beech Inn' which is around a ten-minute walk up the A5121 (Derby Road) going in the opposite direction to Burton town centre. Otherwise, there is the Great Northern pub on Wetmore Road, which serves Burton Bridge Beers, along with a guest ale. Alcohol will be on sale to Charlton supporters on the away concourses.

Pirelli Stadium’s sat-nav postcode is DE13 0BH and there is a large car park at the ground, which is priced at £5. This can fill up quite quickly, however, and parking is also available at the Ryknild Trading Estate and Eton Park Junior School.

Burton-on-Trent Station is around a mile and a half from Pirelli Stadium. Getting from the station to the stadium takes around 25 minutes to walk or costs approximately £6 in a taxi. Burton-on-Trent is served by trains from Derby, Tamworth and Birmingham New Street. The last train out of Birmingham New Street back to London is at 23.10.

Tickets will be available from Pirelli Stadium on the night of the match, albeit with a £2 price increase on the following prices:
