Billy Clarke is set to feature for Charlton’s U23s against Ipswich Town at Sparrows Lane on Monday afternoon.

The Professional Development League 2 South fixture will give the Irishman his first taste of competitive football since December 2017, following his ACL knee injury.

Clarke has returned to full contact training with Charlton’s first-team squad and is progressing well.

Patrick Bauer is off crutches and is working hard in the gym, as he continues his recovery from a knee injury.

The German suffered a high-grade tear to the Lateral Collateral Ligament in his right knee after being on the end of a heavy challenge against Bradford City last month.

Lewis Page continues his rehabilitation following a tear in one of his hip flexor muscles against Scunthorpe United and Jake Forster-Caskey is continuing his work in the gym and swimming pool in the early stages of his rehabilitation following ACL reconstruction surgery four weeks ago.
