From the treatment room: Charlton trio set to return to training on Monday

Head of Medical Services Alastair Thrush provides the latest on Charlton's injuries, ahead of Saturday's home fixture against Fleetwood Town.

Charlton trio Ben Reeves, Jason Pearce and Tariqe Fosu are all set to return to full training on Monday.

Reeves is completing the final stages of his rehabilitation, following his Achilles tendon tear.

Fosu is completing speed and power-based drills, as part of the final stages of his rehabilitation, following his hamstring tendon tear. Fosu is awaiting final sign off from the specialist at the end of this week, after which it is hoped he will return to full training.

Pearce, meanwhile, is also set to re-join full training, with the medial ligament in his left knee having settled.

There is also positive news regarding Igor Vetokele. The striker re-joined full training on Monday after recovering from the rupture of his left plantar fascia in the foot.

Billy Clarke is continuing to progress outside with his running conditioning drills and ball work. It is hoped that he could return to return to first-team training in October.

Jake Forster-Caskey is in a knee brace to allow the medial ligament of his right knee to repair. He will then undergo an operation to reconstruct the anterior cruciate ligament. After this, he will begin his rehabilitation. The injury will rule Forster-Caskey out for the entire season.
