Saturday’s official matchday programme is a bumper 146-page edition which features an in-depth interview with Lyle Taylor and incorporates the club’s 2018/19 handbook.

Valley Review will return to the tradition of having the handbook joined with the first home programme of the season for the first time since 2015 and includes profiles of every first-team, U23 and U18 player and a review of how all three teams’ seasons played out last term. There is also all the usual, vital facts and stats about all things Charlton.

Meanwhile, Valley Review returns with a new-look in 2018/19 with plenty of brand new features, to boot.

In his main interview, new arrival Taylor dishes the dirt on his journey so far in his career and discusses his celebration in tribute to Jake Forster-Caskey on opening day. He also reveals a bit more about himself as he talks us through his favourite things and picks his all-time five-a-side team.

As well as all the latest news from The Valley, we hear from Lee Bowyer as he pens his first notes of the new campaign and there is more history packed into the programme this year with a host of new features.

Museum trustee Clive Harris takes us back to the start of Charlton’s existence and our first ever rivals, long before the likes of Crystal Palace and Millwall, while ‘Past Encounters’ takes a look back at four memorable games against Saturday’s opponents.

Another new regular feature sees an Addicks legend pick their best ever Charlton XI, with Alan Curbishley the first up to talk us through the best eleven players he managed during his time at the club.

Fan Focus will see a different fan put forward for Betdaq’s #PrideofTheValley award where a supporter will share their favourite Charlton memories, while all the latest Women’s team news is rounded up with Manager Riteesh Mishra penning an open letter to fans.
