From the treatment room: Encouraging news for Jay Dasilva and Ahmed Kashi

Head of Medical Services Alastair Thrush has provided the latest update on the club's injuries and expected return dates ahead of the Addicks' home game against Plymouth on Saturday.

Jay Dasilva is progressing well with his rehabilitation at parent club Chelsea and it is hoped that he will be back in training by the end of next week, with a possibility of being involved in our match against Rotherham United on Easter Monday.

Ahmed Kashi is back running outside again and is pain free. He will progress to more football-based rehab drills with us next week ahead of returning to training. All being well we hope to see him back in training in around two weeks time.

Dillon Phillips is back in training and fully fit for selection following his high ankle sprain while Stephy Mavididi returned to full training on Tuesday following his hamstring strain, however this Saturday’s game may just come too soon for him.

Chris Solly has seen the knee specialist and is undergoing a period of rehabilitation over the next two weeks to see whether the knee can settle following aggravation of an old injury affecting the joint cartilage on the outside of his right knee. Following this we will know more as to how the knee is responding to treatment.

Billy Clarke continues to progress with strength and stability exercise for his knee following ACL reconstruction surgery.
