From the treatment room: Solly to see orthopaedic knee specialist

Head of Medical Services Alastair Thrush provides the latest from the treatment room, ahead of Saturday's game against Fleetwood Town.

Chris Solly will see an orthopaedic knee specialist next week to gain further information on the injury he sustained at Blackpool on Tuesday night

The Addicks full-back injured in his right knee when blocking a cross against Blackpool, which has aggravated a long-standing injury. Solly had an MRI scan on Thursday and the specialist will be able to provide more detailed information on the potential rehabilitation timescales.

Lewis Page sustained a head injury against Blackpool and will not be eligible for selection against Fleetwood Town on Saturday. Page will undergo the mandatory six-stage return to play protocol. He should return to full training next week and could be ready for selection for Charlton's match against Plymouth Argyle on March 24th.

Another player targeting the Plymouth match is Stephy Mavididi. The Arsenal loanee will return to training next week, having completed a spell of rehabilitation on his hamstring injury at his parent club Arsenal.

Before he can be considered for match selection, Mavididi will require a re-integration period to allow him to adjust to the full intensity of training.

Goalkeeper Dillon Phillips is set to integrate back into training next week as the final part of his recovery from his high ankle sprain.

Jay Dasilva is continuing his rehabilitation on an ankle injury at his parent club Chelsea. Ahmed Kashi has begun running outside again and will progress on to some football-specific drills next week. Both players will require a couple more weeks of rehabilitation before targeting their return to training.

Sullay Kaikai is back in full training and Billy Clarke is still progressing with his long-term rehabilitation on his ACL knee injury.
