Five impressive Charlton goals against Milton Keynes Dons

Charlton will take on Milton Keynes Dons for the 15th time on Saturday when Karl Robinson's squad head to Stadium MK.

The Addicks picked up three points in Buckinghamshire last season and, ahead of the match, we have searched the Valley Pass archive for five impressive Addicks strikes against MK.

Scroll below to take a look at the goals we have picked out…

Lloyd Sam v MK Dons (09/10)

Charlton met MK Dons for the first time in November 2009 and the Addicks would record a thumping victory at The Valley. Having fallen behind to Aaron Wilbraham brilliant opener, Charlton equalised through David Mooney. Nicky Bailey headed the south-east Londoners in front before half-time and, after the break, Lloyd Sam notched the pick of the goals when he found the bottom corner from the edge of the box. Sam Sodje and Deon Burton put the gloss on the score-line as it ended 5-1 in SE7.

Nicky Forster v MK Dons (09/10)

A nerveless Nicky Forster penalty earned Charlton a vital three points in their hunt for promotion at Stadium MK during the 2009/10 season. The Addicks had beaten the Dons 5-1 in the reverse fixture but this encounter proved to be much tighter and was decided from the spot. Loanee Forster was hauled down inside the box and picked himself up to convert the spot-kick from 12 yards. The Addicks would finish fourth that year but would suffer play-off heart break against Swindon Town.

Pawel Abbott v MK Dons (10/11)

Striker Pawel Abbott only netted four goals during his solitary season at The Valley and one of those came in a Johnstone's Paint Trophy victory at Stadium MK. Luke Chadwick had put the Dons in front early on but, after the break, a pinpoint cross from Kyel Reid was perfectly headed home by Abbott. Scott Wagstaff went on to net the winner as the Addicks progressed into the next round.

Yann Kermorgant v MK Dons (11/12)

Yann Kermorgant's first Charlton goal arrived at Stadium MK when he met a Danny Green cross to earn his side a point in League One. The Addicks were trailing to a Shaun Williams penalty when the Frenchman came off the bench and, 15 minutes from time, he latched onto a superb Green centre to head home via the post. Charlton would take a point home from Buckinghamshire and, of course, went on to lift the third-tier title.

Ademola Lookman v MK Dons (16/17)

Academy graduate Ademola Lookman netted his final Charlton goal on Boxing Day of 2016 as the Addicks earned a festive three points at Stadium MK. The youngster latched onto a through ball from Andrew Crofts and chipped the ball into the far corner to earn Karl Robinson a victory on his first league return to Buckinghamshire.
