Robinson provides post-Crawley transfer update

Karl Robinson provided a transfer update to the local media following Charlton’s 2-0 victory at Crawley Town in the Checkatrade Trophy.

Goals from Ben Reeves and George Lapslie handed the Addicks a win in their Group A opener and afterwards the Manager was asked about the ins and outs of his squad, ahead of transfer deadline day on Thursday.

“As we stand here now, we’re happy with what we’ve got,” he said.

“I’ve said from the outset that I wanted a striker but we’re scoring goals from all over the pitch at the moment.

“It’s going to be busy over the next 48 hours - maybe keeping our players. Hopefully as the transfer window comes to a close we can be quite resolute about what we want to do moving forward.”
