PRE-SEASON PREVIEW | UCD v Charlton

Charlton round off their pre-season tour of Ireland with a third game in three days as they take on University College Dublin on Wednesday evening (7.45pm).

The Addicks go into the friendly off the back of a 5-0 victory over Crumlin United on Monday, before losing out 3-2 to Limerick in a tough test on Tuesday, and UCD will provide the opposition to mark the end of a gruelling 10-day training camp in Ireland for Karl Robinson’s men.

Like Limerick, UCD are currently in the middle of their league season and sit in second place in the SSE Airtricity League First Division, the second tier of Irish football, after 19 matches.

Robinson is likely to utilise his squad in similar fashion to the previous two games and may well choose to rest players for the match at UCD Bowl after Chris Solly, Ahmed Kashi, Tariqe Fosu, Ricky Holmes, Lee Novak and Nicky Ajose sat out of Tuesday night’s friendly, while Jake Forster-Caskey remains at home nursing a slight injury.

Tonight's game will be streamed LIVE on YouTube and you can find out more here.

Tickets will be available from UCD Bowl on the evening of the match priced:
