Olly Groome reports

Charlton will play three pre-season friendlies in three days during this summer’s trip to Ireland.

Karl Robinson and his squad will travel across the Irish Sea on Saturday, July 1st for an initial six-day training camp in Portmarnock, before returning on Monday, July 10th when they will take on Crumlin United in their first pre-season match of the summer.

The clash against Crumlin will kick off at 7.45pm and take place at Richmond Park in Dublin, home of St Patrick’s Athletic.

24 hours later on Tuesday, July 11th, the Addicks will head to the west coast where they will face League of Ireland Premier Division outfit Limerick at Markets Field (7.45pm).

Finally, the Irish tour will wrap up on Wednesday, July 12th when Charlton return to Dublin to play League of Ireland First Division side University College Dublin at the UCD Bowl (7.45pm).

The club will be providing extensive coverage of each game, while ticket details will be announced once confirmed.

The trio of games brings the current first-team pre-season fixture list up to seven matches, with two more friendlies set to be confirmed in due course.
