PREMIER LEAGUE CUP PREVIEW | Fulham U23 V Charlton U23

Olly Groome reports

Jason Euell's U23s could book their place in the last 16 of the Premier League Cup as they take on Fulham at their Motspur Park training ground on Friday evening (7pm).

The Addicks currently sit in second place in Group F with seven points, two points behind the West Londoners in first and a point clear of third-place Middlesbrough who have played a game more, and three points this evening would guarantee the top-two finish needed to qualify.

Last time out in the competition, Euell's youngsters enjoyed an impressive 5-2 victory over Middlesbrough with Reeco Hackett-Fairchild and Mikhail Kennedy each bagging a brace to add to Anfernee Dijksteel's opener at Greenwich Borough,

Meanwhile, Charlton came out on top of the reverse tie with Fulham in December as Josh Umerah (two) and Joe Aribo netted in a 3-1 win.

Supporters can keep up to date with the key incidents from Motspur Park via the club's official Twitter account @CAFCOfficial.
